IPAR Appointed to TAC Vocational Services Panel

IPAR are delighted to announce that we have been successfully appointed to the Transport Accident Commision (TAC) Recovery Vocational Services panel.

The appointment follows a rigourous tender process conducted by the TAC.

Having been successful in this process IPAR have established dedicated TAC teams in all our Victorian branches to deliver RTW same employer, and RTW New employer services to clients who have been injured as a result of a road transport accident.

IPAR Opens New Geelong Office

IPAR are delighted to announce the opening of a new office location in Geelong. The new office is located at Level 1, 153 Mercer St Geelong.

With the opening of this new branch we are also excited to announce the branch will be managed by Minnie Vuong. Minnie has relocated to Geelong from NSW where she has been working for the last several years in Workplace Rehabilitation both as a consultant and a branch manager.

This new office and the experience Minnie brings to our business means we are now better equipped than ever to service our Geelong and Bellarine customers.

IPAR in University of Queensland study

IPAR has been selecetd as one of the rehabilitation provider partners to particpate in a University of Queensland study.

The study, titled: Does Self Management Increse The Effectiveness of Vocational Rehabilitation For Chronic Compensated Disorders? aims to test whether the addition of Chronic Disease Self Management Programs (CDMP) improve the ability of our job seekers to obtain new employment, as well as measuring the impact of the intervention on a number of other attributes e.g. general health and vocational readiness.

The Chronic Disease Self Management Program was develop and Stanford University in the United States and aims to use group education and support to improve self efficasy and condition self management.

The study will take place over the next 12 to 18 months and include job seekers from our Victorian branches. We are very excited to be involved in this research.

IPAR NSW Footprint expands

IPAR are delighted to be able to announce that we are now able to service much of Northern regional NSW.

Through our recent acquisition of Health and Safety Solutions in Newcstle and the openeing of our Tamworth and Taree branches IPAR’s reach to provide workplace rehabilitation and injury prevention services has increased signifcantly.

These branches mean we are now able to service Newcastle, mid coast, mid north coast, Hunter, New England, Tamworth and Dubbo regions.

IPAR Appointed to Centrelink Rehabilitation Panel

IPAR are delighted to be able to announce that they have been appointed to the Centrelink Occupational Rehabilitation Provider panel for Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

IPAR will be providing Early Intervention services and return to work services for both physical injuries and psychological injuries.

This contract was awarded after a competitive tender process. IPAR is very much looking forward to working with Centrelink, Centrelink HR practitioners and Rehabilitation Case Managers to achieve excellent early intervention and RTW results.

IPAR Acquires Health and Safety Solutions

Health and Safety SolutionsIPAR and health and Safety Solutions are delighted to announce that on 30th September 2010 IPAR acquired Health and Safety Solutions.

Health and Safety Solutions (HSS) has a 7 year history of providing tailored injury prevention, OHS, occupational rehabilitation and health care services to clients on in the Newcastle and Hunter areas and has recently expanded to the NSW mid coast.

The acquisition of HSS by IPAR significantly strengthens both businesses as it significantly enhances IPAR’s NSW scale, geographical footprint and suite of services while also improving HSS’ footprint to enable delivery of it’s products and programs around Australia.

IPAR are also particularly pleased to announce that HSS managing Director Peter Proctor will take the role of NSW state manager for IPAR and HSS. We believe that this appointment will significantly strengthen IPAR’s management depth.

IPAR open Shepparton and Bendigo branches on 26th July 2010

We are delighted to announce that IPAR are opening new permanent branch locations in Bendigo and Shepparton (Victoria) on 26th July, 2010. We are fortunate to have very experienced and highly regarded professionals who will open these branches as Branch Managers.

Travis Kreeck will be opening our Shepparton branch. Travis, a Shepparton local and occupational therapist, has over 10 years experience in the workplace rehabilitation field and we look forward to him being on the IPAR team.

Lucy Hogan, one of our Melbourne Senior Injury Management specialists, will be opening our Bendigo branch. Lucy has been with IPAR for a number of years and is a very experienced consultant with great customer relationship skills.

We look forward to these branches being able to assist all of our customers service their regional and rural RTW and injury prevention needs.

We are pleased to announce that IPAR is set to open a new office in Mildura (Victoria) from April 12, 2010, which will service Mildura and the greater Mallee region. We are fortunate to have a very experienced and highly regarded professional joining the team as Branch Manager – Brent Janetzki.
